We built FairVet after one too many estimates that were impossible to make sense of. Your pet deserves great care — you deserve to understand what you're paying for it.
Why we exist
Vet care is one of the few things people buy without ever seeing a price up front. When the estimate finally arrives, it's a wall of unfamiliar terms and numbers — and the only person who can explain it is the one charging for it.
FairVet decodes that estimate into plain English and compares it against real regional pricing, so you can walk into the conversation informed. We never tell you what your pet needs — that's your vet's job. We just make sure the price is one you can understand.
What we believe
- Transparency over judgment. We show you how a price compares — never a verdict on the medical care itself.
- Regional, not national. A fair price in one city isn't a fair price everywhere. We compare against your area.
- Your data stays yours. Estimates are only ever used to sharpen pricing data with all personal details removed.
